Living Things Mini beasts Senior Infants

We went on a hunt in the outdoor classroom searching for mini beasts. We checked under logs and stones and looked in the bug hotel and hedgehog box. We also searched in the grass and leaves around.

Magnetism Senior Infants

We had great fun learning all about magnetism and experimenting with magnets. We explored the classroom to see which objects and materials were attracted to magnets or not. We learnt how magnets can attract or repel one another.

We have been learning all about push and pull forces. We worked in groups to construct a toy that can be pushed or pulled when played with. Take a look at our creations.

Christmas Baking Senior Infants (Materials and Change)

We got our hands dirty making Christmas cookies. We made cookie dough using flour, sugar and butter. We rolled out the cookie dough and cut it using cookies. Then we baked the cookies and decorated them using icing and hundreds and thousands. Yum, yum delicious work!
